Whitening/Bleaching

Procedure
The first step in the whitening process is impressions. We will take full impressions of your upper and lower teeth. These impressions will be made into custom bleaching trays. The bleaching solution can be a little irritating to the gum tissue, but the custom trays conform to your teeth resulting in less contact of the solution with soft tissues.
The second step is to place the bleaching solution in the trays and wear them for one to two hours per day. Within 7-10 days, you will see a significant improvement in the color of your teeth although it may take up to 3 weeks to maximize the bleaching. Your smile will look brighter and younger. We will compare shades before and after so that you will be able to see the amazing transformation.
Bleaching only works on natural teeth and will not alter the color of crowns fillings, dentures, etc. Furthermore, due to the unique nature of each person's enamel, not everyone is an ideal candidate for bleaching.
